{My wife and I have bought and sold our lake home with Dave and Laura. I'm actually in the mortgage business, so picking a Realtor can be a little tricky (I know a lot of amazing agents!) -- but when it came to picking someone at Lake Panorama, the choice was obvious. Dave and Laura know the lake extremely well, they always seem to know what's coming on the market (before it hits, so you have a HUGE advantage working with them), they have a buyer's list of people actively looking for homes (so they were an easy choice to list with, you'll probably have showings lined up before you even list, we did). I just knew that they'd be the best option at the lake. And, it proved to be true. I first engaged with Dave on getting a market value, just because I was curious how things were looking after some renovations we'd completed. He came back with a really detailed explanation of what he thought the current market value was -- and, gave a really clear path on how he arrived at the number. It was more than I would've anticipated, but the data made me feel good about it -- and, eventually decide to list it for sale. Once we decided to do it we just wanted to get it done and the process moved very quickly (I got the impression they'd move at whatever speed we wanted though -- like, zero pressure). Once we listed, we quickly found ourselves in a situation I personally hate to see happen, with dual agency. Laura ended up bringing a buyer, and Dave helped us as sellers. I've seen this implode many times in my career. However, the way Dave and Laura handled it was extremely impressive (and I'm pretty high maintenance). It became clear they've had it come up many times before -- and I think they did an incredible job of maintaining confidentiality throughout negotiations and even through closing. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to others -- have already told a friend that was considering selling their lake home they should call them first. To be clear, there are many great Realtors out there. But when it comes to buying/selling homes on the lake, I think Dave and Laura are the obvious option. They're full-time agents. They're local. Also important with a second home, they know everyone, so you won't be wondering who to call to do anything. So glad we worked with them. Highly recommend you at least talk to them if you're looking at buying or selling at the lake. (And, shout-out to Angie. who is also great, helping behind the scenes!)
